  • Walk Off The Earth’s incredibly popular YouTube cover of Gotye featuring Kimbra’s smash hit “Somebody That I Used To Know” has passed the 100 million view mark, making it the most popular cover song ever posted on YouTube. The creative video features all five band members playing one guitar and has helped rapidly catapult the Canadian group into online stars. he band performed the song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this year, and the clip of that performance has been viewed nearly 2.5 million times.

    The band have released dozens of other covers, and fans have responded to Walk Off The Earth’s clever arrangements and beautiful harmonies. Their recent covers of the Weeds theme song “Little Boxes” (originally performed by Malvina Reynolds) and The Beatles’ “From Me To You” have each gotten over 3 million views. Their latest is a cover of Nirvana’s “Polly” that is already at over 1 million views on YouTube.

    WOTE have a loyal fanbase, with over 600k subscribers to their YouTube channel and over 490k fans on Facebook.     Walk Off The Earth features multi-instrumentalists Gianni Luminati, Ryan Marshall, and Sarah Blackwood on vocals, Mike Taylor on keyboards, and Joel Cassady on drums. The Burlington, Ontario band have been together since 2006, and self released two full length albums of original material.

  • Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and producer R. KELLY, will release his 11th studio album "Write Me Back", in Ireland on Friday 22nd June. "Write Me Back" will be available in Standard and Deluxe editions; the latter will include 4 bonus tracks, while the physical version will have special packaging that will include a postcard for fans to actually write R. Kelly back. Both versions of the album will be available for pre-order from 29th May at select retailers.

    “Share My Love”, the album’s first single, recently grabbed the #1 spot at Urban Adult radio in the US. Kelly’s newly released second track, “Feelin’ Single” described as “classic Kelly, full of infectious hooks and buttery smooth grooves” (Prefixmag.com), will impact radio on May 21st and 22nd.   • Global Pop superstar and Grammy Award Winner, Kelly Clarkson has announced that she is bringing her “Stronger Tour” to The O2, Dublin on 10th October. Tickets for this highly anticipated show will go on sale next Friday 25th May at 9am from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

    This tour is in support of her smash hit studio album ‘Stronger’ which was released to much critical acclaim at the end of 2011. Kelly Clarkson is also set to release ‘Dark Side’ on 3rd June which is the third single to be taken from the album.

    Entertainment Weekly calls "Stronger", “a breakup album for the ages”, while Billboard states “she’s in her strongest form yet on fifth album Stronger”.
